This course is
designed for people who need to inspect, test and fit tags to electrical
equipment on a regular basis.
The course consists of

Participants will also receive training on several Portable Appliance
Tester models and tuition in the following:

Testing of Double Insulated Devices

Testing of Earthed Appliances

Testing of Extension lead sets

Fitting and writing out the tags

Maintaining the mandatory records of testing
Participants will
receive course notes, copies of relevant sections of the legislation,
notes on electrical principles and on completion a Statement of
Competency and Laminated Yellow card with personal testing qualification
number.
