ETS have a strategic alliance in place
with one Australia’s most successful
thermographic surveying companies,
specialising in the scanning of
Electrical Switchboards. We are
multi-sector accredited, certified to AS3998.
Our existing
core business is inspections for consulting
engineers, asset managers and insurance
industry audits. Client list and referees
available upon request.
Our customers are
from varying aspects of the commercial
market whom we provide OH&S, Insurance
Audits and compliance reports.

Thermal Imaging
identifies the transfer of infrared heat
radiation from an object and
provides the means to scan the thermal
emissions of various surfaces and display
an image of temperature distribution.
This reveals possible problem areas that
may need to be dealt with to improve the
safety and efficiency of machinery,
building structures or electrical apparatus.

Thermal imaging can be beneficial within a large number of industrial
uses from condition monitoring to
predicting failure in machinery or electrical apparatus. |

ETS thermographics Division specialises in the
scanning of Electrical Switchboards. We are
multi sector accredited certified to
AS3998. Our existing core business is inspections
for consulting engineers, asset managers and insurance industry

ETS use the latest Infra-red thermal
imaging technology available, and along
with regular training conducted by
Melbourne University and nationally
accredited Non Destructive Testing
Laboratories, ensure that the latest
procedures and methods are employed as they
are developed. In addition, all
thermographers are qualified to AS3998 and hold current A grade
electrician licences. |

Technology advancements in thermal
imaging equipment have assisted in developing a
highly sophisticated non-contact temperature measurement and
analysis procedure.
Infrared sensitive semi-conductor materials located within the
cameras’ detector sends signals to a maths
processor which digitally generates an image.
ETS utilise the AVIO-600 thermal imaging camera to complement our
long wave IR scanning procedures. The new
technology AVIO-600 is driven by a unique
software program "Posi Trak" which digitally aligns past and
present images regardless of camera angle
or distance for the most accurate condition
monitoring and trending task. |

Infrared thermography can detect potentially serious faults before they
have a chance to develop. A survey of an
electrical installation will reveal in seconds any abnormal
component temperatures preceding equipment failure.

As the thermography report will show the exact area of fault, no time or
money is spent on elimination of parts that are
not at fault.
Cost savings will be made when the procedure is used as part of a
maintenance program. Unexpected breakdowns in
all types of plant will be detected well in advance of them being
visually apparent. Repairs
and/or maintenance can then be scheduled to suit your company’s
needs.

Using infrared thermography as a diagnostic tool, or thermal imaging as
it is sometimes called, is a condition
monitoring technique that measures the radiant heat pattern which is
emitted from a body, such as building structures or plant
equipment. This technique can determine regions
or points of increased or reduced heat emissions, which can indicate the
presence of a fault in the body.
Bound reports or electronic versions,
containing documentary evidence of survey
results are provided with each survey.
