The following images highlight just a few hazardous situations that you should be on the lookout for in both your home and office environment.
Damaged Lead  
Cut Extension Lead

Inspection Checklist:  
Check for obvious external damage.  
Check defects- accessories, plugs or socket outlets.  
Check defects on connectors.  
Check supply cords:  
No exposed inner cords, external sheaths not cut abraded or damaged.  
Check cords are not tangled or exposed for tripping.  
All flexible cords are securely anchored.  
Powerboards: Indicator for ‘maximum load’ is visible & legible.
